Bristol City vs. Newcastle United
Bill was the Honorary Auditor of the Newcastle United Supporters Club London for the past eight years, ever since I accepted the post of Treasurer.
A very clever man, he was educated at Kings Grammar School, Birmingham, the city of his birth. He trained as a bookkeeper and eventually became Finance Director of a dairy firm turning over many millions of £s. His four sons did not follow him in his first love as a supporter of Aston Villa, rather finding Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United more to their liking. He enjoyed all sport but especially football and liked nothing better than to sit down with a good read as diverse as "Who ate all the pies?" by Mick Quinn or "The man in the middle" by David Ellery. Bill came at my invitation to two Newcastle United away games and was captivated by the warmth of our Supporters.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen, his four sons and seven grandchildren.
Thanks Bill.

London Supporters raised this for the Foundation on trips to match. Some Fulham supporters contributed as well on the way.

Spotted on the Chronical Website, Wyn Davies wearing a London Supporters Club Tie.
We still have some of these ties available. Please contact a committee member if you want one.
